Jake Martinez's passion for sports shines through his time at Lehigh. As a record-setting athlete in track and cross-country at Lehigh, Martinez was also a co-captain of COACH, a student-athlete organization helping to raise funds and leading athletic and academic after-school activities in Bethlehem. Martinez recently established a 501(c)3 that marries his passion for running and desire to help others through producing races that benefit causes. These experiences, along with his business education and an internship at Adidas in summer 2022, led Martinez to pursue a graduate program in sports product management at the University of Oregon.
International student Bonor Ayambem's curiosity fueled her four years at Lehigh. From Nigeria to Pennsylvania, Ayambem '23 pursued computer engineering while exploring storytelling through an English minor. As a Gryphon, she supported her residents, fostering connection and empathy, and as a podcaster for "Lehigh Insider," she showcased fellow community members. Research in Denmark, dance groups, tutoring, and involvement in the Women's Wrestling Club also enriched her experience. Her advice: immerse yourself.
Victoria Drzymala ’23 understands that all politics is local. As president of the Student Senate and a Marcon Institute Fellow, she initiated a six-week internship program for Lehigh students from marginalized communities to work with Bethlehem City government. Drzymala's own internships, connections, and mentors fueled her passion for government and politics. Graduating with a degree in political science and international relations, she values the guidance of her professors and the perspective gained at Lehigh. With a role as a constituent advocate for a U.S. representative after graduation, Drzymala's Lehigh experience prepares her for success in her professional career.
Each May, graduates can be seen taking pictures with friends all across campus to mark the end of their college journey.
