German Applied Chemistry Publishes ECUST Latest Research Progress in Environmental Chemistry of Low-Carbon Water Treatment

Recently, German Applied Chemistry, an international authoritative publication in the field of chemistry, published the latest research article of Professor Xing Mingyang's research group in the field of low-carbon water treatment environmental chemistry online. The article was entitled “Selective Production of CO from Organic Pollutants by Coupling Piezocatalysis and Advanced Oxidation Processes”.

This article is first-authored by Doctoral Candidate Ran Maoxi from School of Resources and Environmental Engineering and corresponding-authored by Professor Xing Mingyang from School of Chemistry, with East China University of Science and Technology as the only academic affiliation. The research has received help from Mr. Zhang Yayun from School of Chemical Engineering in DFT calculation and careful guidance from Professor Zhang Jinlong, an academician of the European Academy of Sciences. The research has been financially supported by the Joint Research Center of Nobel Prize Scientists in Feringa, the Frontier Science Center of the Ministry of Materials Biology and Dynamic Chemistry, and the National Natural Science Foundation.
